“Baby Killer Nurse Lucy Letby’s Prison TV Obsession and Snack Stash Revealed”

An insider has revealed that Lucy Letby, known as the “baby killer nurse,” indulges in watching the Channel 4 show Come Dine With Me and stockpiles Maltesers in her prison cell at HMP Bronzefield in Surrey. Letby, 35, is currently serving multiple life sentences for the murder of seven children and the attempted murder of seven others at the NHS Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016.

Letby is reportedly accommodated in Unit Four, a section designated for ‘enhanced inmates’ at HMP Bronzefield. These inmates receive special privileges for good behavior, including additional visits, a personal TV in their cell, and the freedom to wear certain personal clothing items.

According to a prison source quoted by The Sun, Letby is actively engaged in various activities within the facility, such as unit cleaning, workshops, and educational programs. The source mentioned that Letby particularly enjoys watching Come Dine With Me on TV and requests to return to her cell only during marathons of the show, emphasizing her passion for it.

In addition to her TV preferences, Letby is said to collect Maltesers and Minstrels in her cell, which she allegedly purchases with money sent by friends and family.

Previous reports from inside the prison suggested that Letby was transferred to the enhanced unit due to concerns about potential attacks from other inmates.

Despite being convicted of severe crimes, Letby is described as reserved and quiet by prison staff. However, some officers reportedly express discontent over her presence in the enhanced unit, given the nature of her offenses. The primary reason cited for her placement there is for her safety, as she could be at risk of harm in other areas of the prison.

Letby was sentenced to 15 life terms in August 2023 at Manchester Crown Court, making her only the fourth woman in British history to receive a whole life order, ensuring she will remain incarcerated indefinitely. Despite unsuccessful appeals, a recent claim of miscarriage of justice was lodged by her legal representative earlier this year.
