A woman aged 49 is in critical condition and under police surveillance in a hospital following a tragic incident in an Oxfordshire village where a nine-year-old girl lost her life and two other children were injured.
Authorities responded to a residence in Middle Street, Islip, at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, after reports of three children being assaulted. The nine-year-old girl was declared deceased at the scene, while a boy and a girl received medical treatment at a hospital and were later discharged.
The names of those involved, including the young girl who passed away, have not been disclosed by the police.
