A family has honored a young father, describing him as “kind” and “hardworking,” following his tragic death in a Wolverhampton car park. Navpreet Singh, 26, was taken to the hospital around 1:30 am on Wednesday by friends after an assault in a car park off Dudley Road in Blakenhall. He sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital at approximately 2:10 am, according to West Midlands Police.
On Friday, three men were apprehended on suspicion of murder. A 20-year-old man is currently in custody, while two others, aged 23 and 34, have been released on bail pending further investigation, the police confirmed.
The family of the 26-year-old expressed devastation on Saturday, stating, “Navpreet was a caring husband, dedicated father, brother, and son. He was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his second child. His wife is profoundly saddened and inconsolable over the loss of her beloved husband, with whom she was building a promising future.”
“His two sisters are devastated, mourning the loss of their beloved brother with whom they shared a strong and unbreakable bond. Described as a kind, hardworking, and compassionate individual who prioritized his family above all else, his warmth, generosity, and gentle nature impacted everyone who knew him.
