Virginia Giuffre’s former partner has recounted a distressing phone call from her at the age of 17, shortly after alleging that she engaged in sexual activity with Prince Andrew in London. Tony Figueroa expressed how Virginia was visibly shaken with fear during the call, emphasizing their mutual concern for her safety amidst circulating conspiracy theories surrounding the untimely death of Princess Diana.
Detailing the harrowing conversation, Figueroa described Virginia’s trembling voice during the call in March 2001 and the shared apprehension that she might be in danger. Despite Prince Andrew adamantly denying any misconduct, recent disclosures prompted him to renounce his royal affiliations following revelations of dishonesty regarding his association with the convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
Reflecting on the past, Figueroa vividly remembered Virginia confiding in him about her encounter with Prince Andrew, expressing her reluctance and distress over the situation. As Virginia’s long-time companion, he witnessed her gradual transformation from a vibrant young individual to a victim of Epstein’s exploitative actions, as depicted in her memoir “Nobody’s Girl.”
Tragically, Virginia passed away at the age of 41, weeks after sustaining injuries in a car accident. Figueroa recounted accompanying Virginia to Epstein’s residence in Palm Beach, where he unknowingly facilitated Epstein’s sinister activities by bringing schoolgirls at his request, a decision that continues to haunt him.
Financial support from Epstein enabled their lifestyle, but as Virginia’s mental state deteriorated, she turned to substance abuse. Eventually, she confided in Figueroa about her ordeal, revealing the extent of her trauma. Despite his persistent encouragement, Virginia felt trapped and frightened, culminating in a distressing request from Maxwell and Epstein for her to bear their child.
Following a period of contemplation, Virginia embarked on a journey to Thailand for massage training sponsored by Epstein, gradually distancing herself from Figueroa. Subsequently, she met her future spouse, Robert Giuffre, and relocated to Australia, where they started a family before parting ways.
Figueroa urged Prince Andrew to acknowledge his alleged role in Virginia’s tragic demise and discredited his assertion that a controversial photograph featuring him and Virginia was fabricated. Expressing skepticism about the prince facing accountability or legal repercussions, Figueroa lamented the perceived lack of progress in seeking justice for the victims involved in the scandal.
