Joe echoed the sentiment, acknowledging the nerve-wracking experience of informing the family, considering it a significant life event. Dianne added that her father initially thought it was a joke, and Joe would tear up each time they disclosed the news to someone new.
The couple also disclosed in the video that they have already selected a name for their baby boy but chose to keep it a secret for now. Joe mentioned that the name they picked is unique and hinted that it could be shortened, adding a playful comparison to his own name.
Concerning their baby announcement, Dianne and Joe shared the news through a heartwarming Instagram video in September, portraying themselves as stick figures with a stick baby in the middle, captioned with excitement for their little boy’s arrival.
They also mentioned in their video the unique aspect that their son will witness the moment his parents first met, which occurred during their participation in “Strictly Come Dancing” in 2018. Although the couple reached the show’s finale, they were runners-up to another couple, Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, who are also romantically involved and have a child together.
Despite concerns from some fans about Dianne dancing while pregnant, she responded to critics by sharing a video on Instagram performing a cartwheel, expressing her love for dancing and defying any negativity.
Unfortunately, Dianne had to end her current Strictly journey after her partner, Stefan Dennis, sustained an injury, leading to their early exit from the competition. Nevertheless, Dianne continues to participate in professional dance numbers during the show’s results segments.
