“Man Unloads Human Remains at Bristol Bridge After Football Win”

A man identified as Yostin Mosquera, 35, requested a stop at Bristol’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge to unload two heavy suitcases late on a Wednesday night in July 2024. This event came after England’s victory in a football match against the Netherlands. Passersby helped him without suspecting that the suitcases contained human remains.

Eyewitnesses shared their accounts, with one person recalling assisting with the heavy luggage while joking about the content. Another witness mentioned seeing blood on one suitcase left on the bridge and another on the road nearby, prompting a cyclist to chase Mosquera as he attempted to flee.

Authorities launched a search operation involving a police helicopter, Coastguard, and police dogs to track down Mosquera. The investigation revealed that Mosquera, a resident of Shepherd’s Bush, was involved in the murder of two individuals, including a porn actor named Albert Alfonso. Mosquera was eventually apprehended two days later near Bristol Temple Meads station.

During the trial, it was revealed that Mosquera had staged the murder of his victims and attempted to blame the killings on them instead. Despite his claims of self-defense, evidence of premeditation emerged, leading to his conviction for both murders at Woolwich Crown Court.

Local residents expressed shock and concern over the incident, emphasizing the unusual nature of the crime in their community. Mosquera’s capture and the subsequent legal proceedings shed light on the tragic events that unfolded in Bristol in July 2025.
