“Siblings Caught Vandalizing Home in UK Village”

Shocking video footage captured the moment two siblings vandalized a woman’s residence by throwing objects through her windows.

Caught on camera, Harry and Alistair Palmer were seen hurling items from the front yard towards the house in a coastal village in the UK. The disturbing footage showed Alistair aggressively banging on the door while Harry stood in the garden, creating a chaotic scene in Seasalter, Whitstable, on May 27.

Despite loud demands from Alistair for the occupants to come out, no one responded during the unsettling incident, with voices heard from inside the house. The brothers left briefly but returned 30 minutes later, continuing to shout, swear, and demand the residents to exit the property.

Alistair, a resident on the same street, was heard yelling expletives and urging the occupants to leave the house. Subsequently, the brothers grabbed objects from the garden, such as a small bucket, and threw them at the windows, causing damage amounting to around £350.

With no one coming out, Harry, hailing from Herne Bay, took the Ring doorbell before they fled the scene. Following their arrest, Harry confessed to criminal damage and theft, while Alistair admitted to criminal damage without facing charges for the stolen device. Both brothers appeared in court together at Margate Magistrates’ Court on September 12, where they pleaded guilty to the charges.

During the court proceedings, a prosecutor mentioned that the house was unoccupied at the time of the window-smashing incident, with the brothers leaving after causing the damage. Footage retrieved from the stolen device displayed the brothers swearing as they carried out the vandalism, seemingly in search of a former partner of the homeowner.

At a hearing in September, defense lawyer Richard Graham requested pre-sentencing reports, clarifying that although the property was later destroyed by fire, the brothers were not involved in the arson incident. Magistrates reviewed the reports, and the sentencing for both siblings was set for October 22.

Harry received a 12-month community order, 50 hours of unpaid work, £175 compensation to the homeowner, and £357 in fines, court costs, and victim surcharge. Alistair, who reportedly has a brain condition, was deemed unfit for unpaid work and was placed on an 18-month community order, which included a two-week tagged curfew from 7pm to 7am, 15 rehabilitation sessions, £175 compensation, and £199 in costs and victim surcharge.
