“Man Thrown from Boat and Left to Die in Costa del Sol Tragedy”

A tragic incident unfolded at a popular Costa del Sol holiday resort today, resulting in the death of a man who was thrown from a boat and left behind. The incident occurred in Puerto Banus, located southwest of Marbella, around midday. Reports suggest that the boat involved had four powerful engines and may have been linked to drug activities, although official confirmation from the Civil Guard is pending. Witnesses recounted how the individuals aboard the boat deserted the victim near a fuel station before speeding away, leaving him unattended. Emergency responders arrived at the scene but could only declare the man deceased.

Contrary information surfaced, indicating that the unidentified man, believed to be in his thirties, was initially thrown into the sea near the fuel station before being recovered from the water and pronounced dead. Law enforcement sources noted no apparent signs of physical assault on the victim. Video footage shared online depicted the presence of National Police and Civil Guard vehicles, along with an ambulance, at the scene near the moored yachts in the port.

The deceased individual’s body has been transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Malaga for further examination. Authorities involved in the investigation have not dismissed the possibility that the incident might be linked to a drug-related conflict. Recent shootings in Puerto Banus and its vicinity have led to heightened police surveillance during peak tourist seasons, including targeted operations at upscale establishments.

In a separate incident on October 3, Hamza Karimi, a 25-year-old Swedish rapper known as Hamko, was fatally shot in broad daylight in Puerto Banus. Karimi succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds after being rushed to Costa del Sol Hospital, as confirmed by Spanish police. A 38-year-old suspect was apprehended near the crime scene and subsequently detained following a court hearing.

Moreover, in a previous occurrence in June of last year, Manchester City footballer Erling Haaland encountered a police raid at Playa Padre beach club in Marbella. Haaland cooperated with authorities by presenting his identification during the operation, which led to the arrest of a 33-year-old individual. Similarly, a shooting incident at La Sala, a British-managed restaurant, resulted in the arrest of two men allegedly associated with organized crime activities.

Following these violent episodes, celebrity Kerry Katona disclosed her decision not to relocate to the Costa del Sol resort with her family due to safety concerns, despite prior plans to do so.
