“King’s Brother Arrested: Epstein Links Prompt Police Search”

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was arrested at his temporary residence on the Sandringham Estate by officers who arrived in an unmarked car this morning. Police are now searching properties in Berkshire and Norfolk, with the possibility of holding him for up to 24 hours before potential charges, which could be extended to 96 hours upon approval.

The King’s brother has faced increasing scrutiny due to revelations about his association with Jeffrey Epstein. The release of the Epstein files by the US Department of Justice has exposed numerous emails, bank records, and correspondence between Mountbatten Windsor and Epstein, even after the latter’s conviction for child sex offenses in 2008.

Royal expert Andrew Lownie views Andrew’s arrest as a positive development, emphasizing the seriousness with which authorities are treating the situation. Lownie believes the police have been meticulously preparing their case following the disclosures in the Epstein files.

Regarding the arrest, the King expressed deep concern about the allegations of misconduct in public office against Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. He emphasized the need for a thorough, fair investigation by the appropriate authorities, with full support and cooperation from the royal family.

As part of the investigation, electronic devices such as laptops and phones may be seized from Royal residences. Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright affirmed the importance of maintaining the integrity and objectivity of the investigation, promising updates as the case progresses.
