Liverpool sparkled with glamour, elegance, and generosity as actor and comedian John Thomson, known for his role in Cold Feet, hosted a glamorous charity gala that raised an impressive £250,000 to support various causes in the North West region.
The gala, orchestrated by John Morley, the CEO of Liverpool-based developer Legacie, served as the official launch of the Legacie Foundation, a new philanthropic arm dedicated to supporting local community initiatives, educational programs, and social projects.
Renowned personalities including Liverpool FC icon Ian Rush, Wrexham standout Conor Coady, and former Reds striker Fabio Borini graced the event, mingling with prominent figures from Liverpool’s business community for an unforgettable evening of entertainment and fundraising.
Attendees were treated to a captivating live performance by iconic 90s band The Lightning Seeds, enhancing the already vibrant atmosphere at the venue. Expressing his pride, Legacie CEO John Morley remarked, “I’m delighted that we have been able to contribute to incredible organizations such as Alder Hey, the LFC Foundation, and The Inclusive Hub.”
He added, “The funds raised by Legacie and our esteemed partners will have a significant impact on individuals throughout our communities. The gala was a collaborative effort with RWInvest, Sal Group, Vita Group, 18rec, and Maclec.
