Sky TV customers who love watching movies will notice a significant change in the TV schedule starting on April 30. Sky has announced a reorganization of its Cinema channel lineup by combining two existing services into one.
The Sky Cinema Animation channel, previously on channel 312, has now been integrated into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to streamline the viewing experience by consolidating all family-friendly films in one place.
Despite the channel merger, viewers will not lose any content; rather, it will be consolidated. Popular movies like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, Smurfs, How to Train Your Dragon, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Wicked will still be available, now all under a single channel.
Sky has assured customers that all the content from the former Sky Cinema Animation channel will remain accessible through Sky Cinema Family. Additionally, Sky Cinema Animation will make a temporary return during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5, offering entertainment for kids when they are out of school.
