Authorities shared a brief video of a person of interest clad in all black walking near the university premises. The university confirmed the loss of two lives and the hospitalization of eight individuals in critical but stable condition. Providence Mayor Brett Smiley revealed that the shooting took place during ongoing exams at the Barus and Holley building, where engineering and physics classes are conducted.
