“Pressure Mounts for Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson to Vacate Royal Lodge”

Pressure is mounting on Prince Andrew and his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, to vacate their shared residence at Royal Lodge in Windsor as public discontent grows. Speculation suggests that Prince Andrew might follow in his nephew Prince Harry’s footsteps by relocating overseas.

Following the renunciation of their royal titles and privileges, concerns have arisen about Prince Andrew continuing to reside in the opulent Royal Lodge property in Windsor Great Park, featuring 30 rooms and eight bedrooms. Prince Andrew has resided at Royal Lodge since 2003 under a long-term lease agreement with the Crown Estate.

Despite their divorce, Sarah Ferguson has frequently stayed at Royal Lodge, maintaining a close relationship with Prince Andrew. Recent attention has been drawn to Sarah Ferguson’s connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including an email she allegedly sent to Epstein apologizing for previous remarks. Epstein’s correspondence also suggested that Sarah had visited him with her daughters after his release from prison.

Calls have intensified for Prince Andrew and Sarah to leave Royal Lodge, with polls indicating significant public support for their departure. However, legal experts suggest that Prince Andrew’s lease agreement grants him the right to remain until 2078 unless he violates specific terms. Alternatively, if Prince Andrew voluntarily decides to leave, it is speculated that they may relocate abroad, possibly to Switzerland or Abu Dhabi.

To finance their potential move, Sarah recently sold a property in Belgravia, providing them with financial flexibility for their next steps. Royal biographer Andrew Lownie proposed that Sarah might settle in Switzerland, where they previously owned a chalet. Ultimately, the decision on their future residence remains in Prince Andrew and Sarah’s hands.
