A tragic car accident has claimed the lives of a young beauty queen and her boyfriend just a week after she won her crown. Alison Montano Guerrero and Jesus Eduardo Severiano García were involved in a fatal head-on collision with a lorry on Friday afternoon, leaving them both trapped inside their vehicle.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders confirmed the couple’s deaths. Alison, who was crowned Miss Teocaltiche 2025 only eight days prior, had expressed her affection for her hometown during the pageant. She shared a message emphasizing that true beauty lies in treating others with respect and love.
Alison, a dedicated student studying Psychology and Education at Centro Universitario de los Altos, part of the University of Guadalajara, was well-regarded by local media. Her university and authorities in Teocaltiche extended their condolences and praised her for embodying strong values and leaving a lasting legacy of joy, kindness, and dedication.
Despite her limited social media activity, Alison had amassed over 5,000 followers on Instagram. Her final post, posted on Thursday, depicted her in a black hat and brown top. The cause of the crash on Mexico’s Jalostotitlán-Teocaltiche highway is still under investigation by the Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office.
