Lenovo has entered the tablet market with its new Tab Plus Gen 2, challenging Apple’s dominant iPad with a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display featuring Dolby Vision visuals and a 120Hz refresh rate. Unlike traditional designs, the Tab Plus Gen 2 boasts a large circular speaker powered by JBL technology, doubling as a Bluetooth speaker that supports Dolby Atmos audio for an enhanced entertainment experience. The tablet also includes a built-in kickstand with a versatile 360-degree rotation feature for easy movie viewing and improved portability.
Under the hood, the Tab Plus Gen 2 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, a substantial 10,200mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, and 128GB of storage expandable via an SD Card. Priced at £369 on Lenovo’s website, the Tab Plus Gen 2 presents a competitive alternative to Apple’s iPad, which starts at £429, with the upgraded Air model priced at £749.
