Sarah Ferguson Faces Eviction Amid Royal Title Stripping

Sarah Ferguson, a strong supporter of her scandal-plagued former spouse Andrew, faces eviction from the Royal Lodge following a decision by King Charles to strip Andrew of his formal titles. The Palace confirmed the move to rename Andrew as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and relocate him to private accommodation within the Sandringham estate, funded by the King.

Sarah, too, will need to find her own residence as she and Andrew have been instructed to vacate their royal home, with no alternative housing provided for her. Recent discussions hinted at Andrew’s interest in Frogmore Cottage, while Sarah reportedly sought Adelaide Cottage, the current residence of Prince William and Princess Kate, a proposal that royal insiders criticized.

Amid conflicting claims, the Palace refuted offering Adelaide Cottage to Sarah, leaving her without accommodation assistance. The couple had shared the Royal Lodge since 2008 despite their divorce in 1996, but calls for their departure escalated due to Andrew’s association with Jeffrey Epstein, accused by Virginia Giuffre of sexual abuse.

Allegations of Sarah calling Epstein a “supreme friend” and possibly visiting him with her daughters emerged, although she denies any recollection of such events. The Palace’s formal statement announced the initiation of a process to remove Andrew’s titles and honors, emphasizing support for abuse victims.

King Charles’ decision to strip Andrew of his titles and relocate him, along with Sarah’s need to find her own home, marks a significant shift for the former royal couple. The move follows a series of controversies surrounding Andrew’s ties to Epstein and Sarah’s alleged connections to the convicted sex offender. Royal sources have emphasized the Palace’s commitment to addressing abuse allegations and supporting survivors.
