A motorist was recently pulled over and issued a ticket by law enforcement for violating a rule they likely were not aware of while driving on the M6 highway. In a statement on Facebook, the police detailed the incident where officers from A Unit OPU spotted the driver in the middle lane of the M6 Northbound traveling at an inappropriate speed with no slower vehicles or obstacles in the left lane.
The driver was subsequently removed from the motorway and ticketed for failing to consider other road users, with the likelihood of being required to attend a driver improvement course at their own expense. The police emphasized the importance of drivers being mindful of their lane usage and speed, highlighting the potential consequences of not adhering to proper driving etiquette.
