In a YouTube video posted on October 27, the former Strictly contestant and his partner, Dianne Buswell, disclosed their pregnancy news, revealing that they are expecting a child together, similar to how Tess and Claudia made their announcement.
According to Joe, he and Dianne felt pressured to share their news hastily, speculating that the same circumstances might have influenced Tess and Claudia’s decision. Recounting the experience, Joe mentioned receiving an email on a Friday informing them that their pregnancy news would be made public that Sunday based on credible sources. Despite planning to reveal the news to family that weekend, they had to expedite the announcement to inform their fans before it leaked.
The couple had revealed their pregnancy in September through an Instagram video where they depicted stick figures of themselves with a stick figure baby. Likewise, Tess and Claudia announced their departure from Strictly in a joint video on Instagram, expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to host the show and their plan to exit together after this season.
Tess and Claudia conveyed their appreciation to the BBC and the entire show’s team, mentioning their fondness for the experience and the camaraderie they shared. They also humorously remarked on continuing to say “keep dancing” to each other, albeit in a more relaxed setting at home with pizza.
