Police in Australia are currently investigating the tragic death of a one-year-old child. The incident occurred at the child’s residence, approximately 110km northwest of Melbourne, on Tuesday, November 4, when the child became unresponsive around noon. The child was rushed to the hospital by the mother, aged 26, and her partner, aged 18. Unfortunately, the child passed away on Thursday, November 6.
Authorities are still determining the exact circumstances that led to the child’s death, as stated by Victoria Police. Detectives from the Homicide Squad and the Ballarat Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Investigation Team have been in contact with the child’s mother and her partner as part of the ongoing investigation.
