A young child fell down an elevator shaft while his parents watched in horror after a door he leaned on gave way. The toddler miraculously avoided metal spikes at the bottom of the shaft, falling six feet in the dark.
The boy’s father, fearing the elevator might descend from above, risking their lives, immediately jumped in after him. The mother used a flashlight to help locate the child, while heroic neighbors on the third floor prevented the elevator from moving further, saving the pair from harm.
The father, Alexey, managed to retrieve his son through the damaged door and climb out safely. Fortunately, the child sustained minor bruises and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The family expressed gratitude that their child escaped with only a scare and minor injuries.
