“Baby Elephants’ Mealtime Madness at Kenyan Wildlife Trust”

Few things rival the cuteness of baby animals, especially when they are eating. At the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya, baby elephants eagerly rush to their feeding time, showing their serious approach to meals. Each of these rescued baby elephants has been saved from life-threatening situations and is now under the loving care of dedicated keepers. Just like human babies, these little ones show excitement and anticipation when it’s time to eat, as captured by the trust workers.

Despite their tragic beginnings as orphaned elephants, the babies at the Wildlife Trust are clearly relishing their time together under the care of the trust workers.

In a recent video posted on Instagram, a group of baby elephants can be seen sprinting towards the milk truck as it approaches. Among them, Toto and Natibu engage in a playful race to be the first to reach the feeding spot. Although Natibu, with longer legs, comes in second, Korbessa consistently leads the pack, being the first to arrive for every meal.

Natibu briefly pauses to greet the camera, providing a close-up of his adorable face before continuing towards his bottle. With the assistance of Keeper Jonas, both Natibu and Toto swiftly finish their milk bottles.

The post accompanying the video described the mealtime excitement, highlighting the eagerness of Toto and Natibu to reach the milk bottles first, thanks to the efficient coordination by Keeper Jonas. Korbessa’s consistent lead in arriving first was also mentioned, while Mwinzi’s laid-back approach to meals was noted as he arrives last.

Viewers flooded the comment section with responses, expressing their delight and relating to the elephants’ mealtime race. Some shared how they also rush to their food, while others found joy in the sounds and antics of the baby elephants.
