“Woman’s Fake Pregnancy Scam Lands Exclusive TV Deal”

A woman who tricked her family and friends by pretending to be pregnant has caused outrage by securing an exclusive TV deal. Kira Cousins deceived her loved ones by wearing a fake baby bump and then claimed to have given birth to a daughter named Bonnie-Leigh Joyce. However, the deception was exposed when her mother found out that the “baby” was actually a realistic Reborn doll in her room.

Reports have revealed that the 22-year-old is now set to share her side of the story through an arrangement with an undisclosed production company. A public statement about the broadcast schedule of the program is expected to be released on Monday, according to a PR firm representing her.

A close family friend of Kira, who preferred to remain anonymous, expressed her dismay at the idea of Kira profiting from the scandal. She criticized Kira for capitalizing on the situation and suggested that she should feel ashamed for making money from causing distress to others.

The friend also mentioned that documentary producers had approached her for interviews but she declined, stating that she was offered money by a London-based production company specializing in premium documentaries for major streaming services. Despite the potential for financial gain, she chose not to engage with the producers.

Recent updates on Kira’s Instagram account showed her enjoying a trip abroad, including visiting Templo Ecumenico el Salvador in Gran Canaria. Leading up to the supposed birth of her ‘daughter’, Kira shared baby scans, videos of her gender reveal party, and images of gifts she received, such as a £1,000 pram and a car seat. She also posted what appeared to be AI-generated footage of the ‘baby’ moving in her belly, as well as details about hospital appointments and alleged health issues with the infant.

The truth about her fake pregnancy came to light after her mother discovered the doll, and screenshots of messages suggested that she had informed a man she claimed was the baby’s father about the child’s supposed death. Reborn dolls can vary in price, with some models simulating sounds, tears, and wet diapers.

In a statement shared online, Kira admitted to fabricating the pregnancy, birth, and subsequent events, acknowledging her mistake and expressing regret for the consequences of her actions. She accepted responsibility for her behavior, attributing it to a challenging mental state but acknowledging that it was inexcusable. She anticipated facing long-term repercussions and losing friendships due to her deception.
