The 57-year-old actor attended the Los Angeles premiere of his latest film, “Song Sung Blue,” alongside Sutton Foster, a renowned figure in musical theatre. This marked their debut as a couple on the red carpet, where Jackman sported a classic black suit while Foster dazzled in a black satin dress.
Although they had been seen together on previous date nights, this event marked their first official appearance as a pair in front of cameras. The couple appeared happy and at ease, just four months after Jackman’s divorce from Furness was settled. Their relationship began in 2003, seven years into Jackman’s marriage, when they first met at a Broadway performance. Fast forward to the present day, and they are now co-stars in the Broadway revival of “The Music Man,” after the pandemic delayed their rehearsals.
Their close bond was evident during their work together, with Foster expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with Jackman, who even orchestrated a touching birthday celebration for her during a public event. Meanwhile, Jackman and Furness publicly announced their separation in 2023 after being together for 27 years, ultimately finalizing their divorce in June.
Sutton Foster, previously married to Ted Griffin, filed for divorce in October 2024 after a decade of marriage. The duo was seen holding hands in January and sharing a kiss outside a popular fast-food chain shortly after. By May, Furness had also filed for divorce from Jackman. The premiere of “Song Sung Blue,” which also features Kate Hudson, served as the official debut outing for the new couple. The film showcases Jackman as part of a Neil Diamond tribute act.
