“Gang Member Sentenced to Life for Murder”

A man known for his violent behavior within the North Newham gang has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Ahmed Deen Jah. Lekan Akinsoji, 27, was involved in a gang-related incident where Jah was fatally stabbed in an off-licence. Akinsoji, along with another accomplice, was found guilty of the murder by an Old Bailey jury.

The court heard that Akinsoji, wearing a clown mask, chased Jah into the off-licence where he brutally stabbed him. Ahmed Deen Jah, a member of the Custom House gang, was attacked by Akinsoji and his accomplice, Keita, resulting in his tragic death.
