A renowned actress who has won a BAFTA is poised to contribute her voice to a documentary on Prime Video that delves into King Charles’ commitment to harmonizing nature and humanity. The documentary, titled ‘Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision’, is scheduled for release in early 2026.
The narration will be done by Kate Winslet of Titanic fame, shedding light on the endeavors of The King’s Foundation, a charitable organization founded by Charles in 1990. Winslet, an Oscar-winning actress, expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating that it is a delight and an honor to be part of a film that offers an intriguing glimpse into the King’s environmentalist efforts.
She remarked, “I resonate with His Majesty’s dedication to safeguarding our planet and fostering sustainable communities, making it immensely fulfilling to collaborate with The King’s Foundation on this captivating venture.”
“I am confident that viewers will be educated, entertained, and inspired by the content of the film, hoping that the impact of Harmony will endure for years to come.”
Earlier this year, the 50-year-old Titanic star was appointed as an ambassador for The King’s Foundation and attended the foundation’s awards ceremony held at St James’s Palace in June.
Recognized for her performances in movies such as The Holiday (2006), The Reader (2008), and Revolutionary Road (2008), Winslet is also set to feature in the upcoming Avatar sequel, Fire And Ash.
The documentary focusing on the monarch will delve into King’s “harmony” philosophy, which perceives all elements of nature as interconnected, including humans, as per The King’s Foundation. It will showcase how The King’s Foundation, situated at Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland, has championed this philosophy through projects centered on community revitalization, sustainable textiles, and traditional crafts.
Director Nicolas Brown commented, “Collaborating with Kate Winslet on this film has been transformative. She possesses the ideal combination of intelligence and star power to narrate this story in a unique manner.”
“King Charles III has led an extraordinary life, striving for over half a century to harmonize humanity with the natural world. It’s a grand narrative, brimming with drama, and Kate has crafted it into a tale that resonates with each one of us. We are privileged to have an artist of her caliber on board.”
Kristina Murrin, CEO of The King’s Foundation, added, “Through the film, we aim for the audience to gain a deeper understanding of His Majesty’s Philosophy of Harmony, which underpins our work at The King’s Foundation.”
“We are delighted to have Kate join us on this journey and eagerly anticipate sharing the film with the global audience next year.”
Produced by Passion Planet, the documentary will be exclusively available for streaming on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide early next year. Amazon had previously released A Very Royal Scandal last year, a dramatized account of Prince Andrew’s notorious Newsnight interview.
