The statement conveyed, “With profound sorrow, we announce the untimely demise of our dear Anunay Sood. We seek your understanding and privacy during this challenging period. Kindly refrain from assembling near personal property. Please keep his family and dear ones in your thoughts and prayers. May his soul rest in peace.”
Anunay’s final Instagram post, shared from Las Vegas just a day prior, featured him alongside Sung Kang, the Fast and Furious actor. Reflecting on his American excursion, he wrote, “Still in disbelief from a weekend surrounded by icons and dream vehicles. Which one would you choose to drive?”
In response to the family’s message, fellow influencer Cameron Biafore, who had also been present in Las Vegas, expressed deep sorrow over his passing, describing Anunay as a radiant presence and expressing gratitude for the brief encounter they had. The news of his demise has left his community in shock, with many taking to social media to express their sorrow and disbelief. Anunay had been featured in Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars list for three consecutive years, spanning from 2022 to 2024.
During a 2024 interview with Forbes India, he shared insights into his content creation passion, stating, “One must be adaptable – I never viewed Instagram and similar platforms as my primary income source. It was always a secondary pursuit driven by my passion for travel and the joy of sharing it with others.”
