A former Love Island champion has fallen victim to theft for the second time within a year. The reality TV personality, now a music artist at 27, shared on Instagram that his golf equipment had been stolen in London. Wes Nelson, known for his appearance on Love Island in 2018, expressed his frustration online, stating, “My full golf bag/clubs etc have been stolen. I actually hate what London has become. Twice in a year. Cheers.”
This incident follows a previous theft where his designer bag was taken during a train journey in January. Nelson recounted that the thief discreetly moved his bag from the overhead section of the carriage while he was seated and then swiftly left the train. Fortunately, Nelson had removed his MacBook containing his music beforehand.
Expressing his disbelief at the experience, Nelson emphasized the need for vigilance and warned others to be cautious. He also offered a reward to anyone who could help recover his stolen belongings. Since his time on Love Island, Nelson has ventured into the music industry, collaborating with renowned artists like Craig David, French Montana, and Clean Bandit.
Despite his recent misfortunes, Nelson remains optimistic about his music career, expressing his desire to collaborate with Justin Bieber. In an interview, he humorously appealed to Bieber, saying, “He hasn’t released a lot of songs in recent years. I know he’s working on other bits, but if he hears this, it’s little Wes Nelson a bloke from Stoke – give me a shout!”
