A popular television personality, Amanda Holden, playfully confronted her husband for his frightening pranks as she prepares for a holiday getaway with one of her daughters during the school break.
The judge from the well-known talent show “Britain’s Got Talent” is gearing up for a trip to Los Angeles with her 14-year-old daughter Hollie, as they both share a fondness for the Halloween season.
Amanda’s husband, music producer Chris Hughes, may not share the same enthusiasm for the upcoming holiday but enjoys startling his wife throughout the year by wearing a hockey mask reminiscent of the character Michael Myers. Amanda candidly discussed her husband’s antics during a conversation with Jamie Theakston on Heart FM.
Recounting her experiences, Amanda revealed, “Chris, my husband, has this Mike Myers mask that he wears at random times to scare me. He doesn’t even save it for Halloween; he just surprises me with it, and it’s quite terrifying.”
The character of Michael Myers, introduced in the 1978 horror film “Halloween,” is known for his chilling appearance with a hockey mask.
During her chat with Jamie Theakston, Amanda also shared her excitement about the upcoming Halloween trip to the United States with her daughter. She mentioned her difficulty in choosing a costume for the occasion, considering dressing up as a Dallas cheerleader.
Furthermore, Amanda expressed her thoughts on the recent departure of hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman from the popular show “Strictly Come Dancing.” She emphasized the importance of selecting unconventional candidates for the show to keep the audience engaged.
As Amanda gears up to host the game show “The Celebrity Inner Circle” on BBC One, viewers can catch her in action alongside contestants such as Ricky Wilson from Kaiser Chiefs, Olympic champion Sam Quek, and Charlotte Hawkins from “Good Morning Britain.”
