A father of a student is facing charges following a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a teenager at Kentucky State University. The accused, Jacod Lee Bard, allegedly carried out the attack on the school’s campus in Frankfort, resulting in the death of 19-year-old De’Jon Fox and leaving another student critically injured. Bard, a resident of Evansville, Indiana, has been charged with murder and first-degree assault. The shooting, which occurred at Whitney M. Young Jr. Hall, is the second incident at the university’s halls of residence in four months. University officials have increased police presence on campus following the previous shooting and are now assessing additional safety measures.
