“Father Praises Kids for Saving Him in Road Rage Knife Attack”

A courageous father, who was viciously attacked with a knife by a man displaying a menacing demeanor in what appeared to be a road rage incident, has commended his two young kids for saving his life.

Chris Davison, aged 38, was en route to a Halloween event with his six-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son on October 17 when he reported being tailgated by a black pickup truck. The aggressive driver allegedly forced Davison off California State Route 67 twice, aggressively revving his engine and trailing Davison for several miles.

According to Davison, both men exited their vehicles after the truck driver revved his engine for the second time. The man, characterized by a “demonic stare,” suddenly launched a knife assault on Davison, repeatedly stabbing him in front of his terrified children who were still in the car.

Detailing the attack, Davison recalled how the assailant stabbed him multiple times as he tried to shield himself. The attacker then drove away, leaving Davison severely injured and bleeding.

In a resourceful act, Davison’s children used their sweaters to help stop the bleeding, with his daughter, dressed in her Halloween attire, attempting to signal passing drivers for assistance.

A friend of Davison’s who was riding a motorcycle noticed the situation and stopped to assist, cleaning a blood-soaked phone and calling emergency services. Paramedics arrived 27 minutes later, and miraculously, Davison’s vital organs were spared, enabling his survival despite the grave injuries.

Expressing his gratitude for his children, Davison stated, “I’m forever grateful that I’m here to hug and kiss them and tuck them in every night.”

The suspect, Noah Kane, was apprehended the following day by San Diego County authorities and has reportedly pleaded not guilty to charges, including attempted murder.

A GoFundMe campaign for Davison had nearly reached its fundraising target of £3,800 ($5,000) by Thursday, raising close to £3,000 ($4,000) to cover medical expenses, lost income during recovery, and essential needs for his family.
