“Virgin Media Offers Free LG Smart TV in World Cup Promo”

Virgin Media is offering complimentary smart TVs in a limited-time promotion before the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup today. In anticipation of the kick-off on June 11, the company introduced a new giveaway where customers can receive a free £250 LG Smart TV.

To qualify for this offer, individuals need to sign up for one of four Virgin TV and broadband packages, each featuring an array of benefits such as hundreds of channels, free Netflix, and the option to add Sky Sports and Cinema coverage. These packages include Virgin’s Cinema, Sports, Cinema + Sports, or Max Volt bundles.

Once customers avail of the promotion, they can opt for either a 43” LG Ultra HD smart TV valued at £249.99 or a £125 bill credit, which essentially equates to several weeks of complimentary service. It’s important to act promptly as customers must claim the offer by 11.59 pm on Wednesday, May 27.

Virgin’s eligible TV packages offer over 200 TV channels and a complimentary Netflix subscription. The Cinema bundle at £44.99 additionally provides full Sky Cinema access and 362Mbps fibre broadband. For sports enthusiasts, the Sport bundle at £54.99 replaces Sky Cinema with complete Sky Sports coverage.

Customers also have the option to combine both packages through the Sport + Cinema bundle at £64.99, which boosts broadband speed to 512Mbps. The ultimate choice from Virgin is the Max Volt bundle at £76.99, boasting over 230 TV channels, including Sky Cinema and Sky Sports, Netflix, 1,130Mbps broadband, and an unlimited O2 SIM.

Virgin Media is presenting customers with a free 43″ LG smart TV or a £125 bill credit upon switching to one of its Cinema, Sports, Cinema + Sports, or Max Volt TV bundles by May 27. Moreover, Virgin has introduced the new One Touch Switch initiative, simplifying the process for new customers by handling the transition from their current provider.

It is worth noting that Virgin’s monthly prices experience a £4 increment every April, so customers should consider this when committing to the 24-month contracts. Sky is also running a competing sale ahead of the World Cup, offering reduced prices on its Glass smart TVs, starting as low as £4.50 per month.

For those interested in Sky’s offerings, the slimmer model, Sky Glass Air, is available for the reduced price, while the more powerful Sky Glass Gen 2 now starts at £11. Additionally, Amazon has introduced its revamped Fire TV range, including the new Ember Artline model, priced up to £320 lower and designed to compete with Samsung’s The Frame TV.

Customers who have switched to Virgin Media’s TV and broadband packages have left numerous positive reviews, praising the company for its high-speed broadband and exceptional value. Reviewers have highlighted the seamless installation process, user-friendly interfaces, and extensive channel selections.

Virgin Media customers have shared their satisfaction with the services, emphasizing the ease of use, voice control features, channel variety, broadband speed, and competitive pricing. Switching to Virgin Media has been described as a beneficial decision due to the overall positive experience.
