In 2016, Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana experienced the tragic loss of a late-term miscarriage when Tana was five months pregnant with their son, Rocky. Tana shared that although Rocky had a strong heartbeat, he was too small to survive.

Despite their financial hardships, Gordon humorously recounted the moment when he requested the loan while treating Tana’s father to lunch. The father-in-law’s clever response about selling Gordon’s Porsche before loaning the money left Gordon both surprised and amused.
Following his father-in-law’s advice, Gordon eventually sold his beloved Porsche to secure the loan. Years later, he managed to repurchase the same car after building a collection that includes numerous Ferraris, an Aston Martin, and a couple of McLarens.
Reacquiring his sold Porsche brought a sense of satisfaction to Gordon, who admitted that his love for supercars may have originated from his childhood experiences. Recalling his father’s old car, Gordon shared how his current collection of luxury cars represents a journey from modest beginnings to enjoying the rewards of hard work.
