“Farage Agrees with Lammy on MP’s ‘Racist’ Remarks”

Nigel Farage has expressed agreement with David Lammy’s criticism of a Reform MP’s outdated language. Acting as a stand-in for Keir Starmer during PMQs, the Deputy Prime Minister called out the “racist” remarks made by Sarah Pochin on TalkTV last month.

During a call-in segment, Runcorn and Helsby MP Ms Pochin voiced her frustration over seeing advertisements featuring non-white individuals, stating it made her irate. Mr. Lammy characterized Ms. Pochin’s language as belonging to a backward era.

In response to a question from Labour MP Tristan Osborne on the performance of the Reform-led council in Kent, Mr. Farage visibly concurred with the criticism. Osborne highlighted various issues within the council, questioning the Deputy PM on improving governance standards.

Ms. Pochin later apologized for any offense caused by her comments, clarifying that her words were poorly chosen but maintaining that many ads misrepresent British society.
