Tragic Death After Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery

A mother of three, known for her love and dedication, passed away following a Brazilian butt lift surgery.

Alicia Stone, aged 40 and a devoted mother, was urgently taken to Fundación Valle del Lili Hospital in Colombia after being found unconscious in her hotel room around 6:30 am local time on Thursday. She was declared deceased by the New York Police Department detective an hour later.

Sources revealed that the cause of her death was labeled as “unspecified cardiac arrest.” Stone underwent a liposuction and gluteal fat transfer procedure on October 16, just a week prior to her demise.

Following her surgery, Stone was on pain medication and anticoagulants and had been moved to a hotel for recovery. Her husband, Michael Stone, expressed intentions to seek an autopsy and investigate Alicia’s passing.

In a statement to the Daily News, Michael shared his disbelief at the sudden news of his wife’s death. He emphasized the need for clarity on the events leading to her passing.

Michael further mentioned that Alicia appeared well before the procedure and had reassured family members about her health the day before her demise. An online fundraiser for Stone’s family described her as a caring mother of three and a committed public servant dedicated to safeguarding and serving others.

The fundraiser highlighted Alicia’s positive impact on those around her, both within and outside her professional duties. Her unexpected loss has deeply affected her family, friends, and colleagues.

According to the Cleveland Clinic in the United States, a significant number of individuals undergo Brazilian butt lift procedures annually. This cosmetic surgery involves removing excess fat and injecting purified fat into incisions around the buttocks.

The procedure carries various risks, including:
