“Apple Unveils iPhone 17e at £599, Samsung Releases Budget-Friendly A57 and A37”

Apple has just unveiled its latest smartphone, the iPhone 17e, boasting significant enhancements at an attractive price point. Priced at £599, this device features a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging capability, a durable design, and an impressive single-lens camera – all for £200 less than the flagship iPhone.

In a similar vein, Samsung has confirmed the release of its new models, the A57 and A37, starting at a more budget-friendly £399. While these Samsung devices may not match the performance or charging innovation of the iPhone 17e, they do offer a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, outperforming the 60Hz display of the iPhone 17e in tasks like web browsing, email navigation, and gaming.

The Galaxy phones from Samsung come equipped with notable features including large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and a P68 water and dust resistance rating. For users interested in integrating AI into their daily routines, Samsung’s latest offerings, the Galaxy A37 and A57, come with smart features like Google’s Circle to Search for quick web searches and enhanced photo editing tools such as Object Eraser, Best Face, and Edit Suggestions.

A highlight of these devices is the improved Voice Transcription feature within the Voice Recorder app, allowing users to transcribe or translate call recordings and convert voicemail messages into text. Samsung also promises extended support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G, guaranteeing up to six generations of Android OS updates, One UI updates, and six years of security patches.

Both models will be available for purchase starting April 10th on Samsung.com, with the Galaxy A57 5G priced from £529 (256GB) and the Galaxy A37 5G starting at £399 (128GB). The Galaxy A57 5G will be offered in Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G will come in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White color options.

Annika Bizon, VP of Product and Marketing at Samsung’s Mobile Experience Division, emphasized the importance of making AI accessible to more users and highlighted the everyday performance benefits of AI in the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G.
