Virgin Media is rolling out a new service called Smart Support for all its internet users in the UK. This service, provided at no extra cost, offers round-the-clock assistance to ensure smooth operations throughout the year.
Smart Support automatically monitors broadband coverage and promptly addresses speed or connectivity issues for customers. By offering instant solutions when problems arise, Virgin Media aims to prevent interruptions that can disrupt online activities like streaming or remote work.
Moreover, the service enables remote fixes during nighttime to apply updates or repairs without causing disruptions during the day. If necessary, customers may receive recommendations for WiFi Pod or Hub upgrades to enhance whole-home coverage. In cases of severe issues, customers can request an engineer visit without any additional charges.
Gareth Lister, Director of Connectivity at Virgin Media O2, highlighted the importance of Smart Support in maintaining fast and reliable connectivity for customers. He emphasized the service’s ability to monitor broadband continuously and resolve issues promptly, ensuring seamless connectivity, especially during critical times.
