Trump’s Aide Natalie Harp in Spotlight Amid Air Force One Incident

During a recent security incident in Turkey, U.S. President Donald Trump discreetly relocated from Air Force One using a catering truck, leaving behind several individuals on the plane. Notable figures remaining included U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and the 13-member press pool. Among those who accompanied Trump were deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino, Oval Office operations director Walt Nauta, and executive assistant Natalie Harp, who has recently attracted media attention.

Natalie Harp, a 35-year-old special assistant and executive assistant to the president, has been a constant presence by Trump’s side in various settings since 2022. Described as an invaluable resource by lawmakers, Harp is known for her unwavering loyalty and efficient support for the president. Her proactive approach includes setting up a mobile office that travels with Trump, equipped with a mobile printer for immediate document access. Harp first entered Trump’s circle in 2019 after praising him for a law supporting experimental treatments for patients.

Recently, Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff made remarks about Trump’s priorities during a campaign event, suggesting that Trump prioritizes personal pursuits over official duties, mentioning Harp and Air Force One. In response, Trump dismissed Ossoff’s comments, referring to him in a derogatory manner. White House communications director Steven Cheung criticized Ossoff, labeling him as a political “loser.” The exchange has sparked debate and criticism from various political factions, with some viewing Ossoff’s comments as a strategic move to gain attention and challenge the White House.

Despite the media attention surrounding Harp and the speculation about her relationship with Trump, there is no substantiated evidence of any inappropriate conduct. The discourse generated by Ossoff’s comments underscores the ongoing political tensions and dynamics within the current administration.
