“Teacher Accused of Sexual Relationship with Student”

A 30-year-old married teacher, Nicole Hernandez, also known as Nikki Baird, is accused of engaging in sexual activities with a 17-year-old student in her Jeep after exchanging inappropriate messages. Hernandez, who previously received the ‘teacher of the month’ award, allegedly befriended the boy at school and gradually escalated the relationship to physical intimacy.

The teacher reportedly isolated the student from his peers and initiated off-campus meetings, including a visit to an arts center where they engaged in questionable behavior. The victim claimed that Hernandez pressured him to maintain their secret relationship, leading to multiple encounters, both during and after school hours.

In his final week before graduation, the student alleges that Hernandez made advances in her office, coercing him to touch her. On graduation night, she allegedly propositioned him for sex in her car, using manipulative tactics to convince him. Despite feeling pressured, the student agreed to the encounter, which took place in the back of Hernandez’s Jeep.

Following the incidents, the student realized the inappropriate nature of the relationship and cut off communication with Hernandez. He disclosed explicit materials and notes from the teacher to his family, prompting legal action. Hernandez was arrested on May 22 and is set to appear in court on December 19.
