Royal Sisters Beatrice and Eugenie Navigate Public Scrutiny

The future appears uncertain for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie as they navigate their parents’ public scrutiny due to connections with Jeffrey Epstein. While Beatrice was seen visiting Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson at Royal Lodge after Andrew renounced his Duke of York title, Eugenie has been notably absent. Both sisters seem to be distancing themselves from their parents as the controversy continues.

Lately, Beatrice and Eugenie have been infrequent visitors to Royal Lodge, a property they once lived in with 30 rooms. Pressure mounts on Andrew to relinquish ownership of the estate, which he had intended to pass down to his daughters.

In a previous instance, the sisters missed out on inheriting a £1.5 million Georgian mansion in Surrey gifted by the Queen in 1997. The mansion, Birch Hall, was bought by trustees following Sarah and Andrew’s divorce but was never occupied by the princesses due to concerns over upkeep costs.

Birch Hall, featuring seven bedrooms, four bathrooms, five living rooms, and expansive land with amenities like a tennis court and swimming pool, was sold in 1999 for £1.5 million. Subsequent owners enhanced the property with additional features like a media room and home gym.

Currently, Princess Beatrice resides in a Cotswolds farmhouse with her husband and children, while Princess Eugenie divides her time between Ivy Cottage in Kensington Palace and her main residence in Portugal.
