Four fortunate Premium Bonds holders have been awarded £100,000 each after buying their winning bonds in December. These bonds qualified for the February 2026 draw onwards, requiring ownership for a full month to be included. One of the winners bought a £50 bond in December 2025.
The winners reside in Essex, Brighton and Hove, Cheshire, and Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, holding varying amounts in Premium Bonds. The total amounts held by the winners range from £13,000 to £50,000 each.
In addition to these wins, two individuals secured £1 million Premium Bond prizes in the February 2026 draw, with one winner from Liverpool and the other from Central Bedfordshire.
Premium Bonds, a savings product by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), offer a unique prize draw system instead of a fixed interest rate. Monthly prizes range from £25 to £1 million, with better odds for smaller prizes. The maximum savings limit is £50,000 per person, with each £1 invested corresponding to a distinct bond number.
The chance of winning a prize each month with Premium Bonds is 22,000 to 1 for every £1 bond. Winners are notified via email or text message by NS&I, allowing them to choose between bank deposit or reinvestment. The current prize fund rate, akin to an interest rate, stands at 3.60%.
Recent data highlighted the luckiest regions for Premium Bond wins, with Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Essex, and Outer London ranking high in prize frequency. Notably, Norwich and Cumbria each had two £1 million jackpot winners in 2025.
