Leading the Canadian team for the upcoming Davis Cup qualifiers in Quebec City next month is Felix Auger-Aliassime, currently ranked fourth in the world. Tennis Canada has announced that he will be accompanied by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, positioned 12th in the Davis Cup rankings, is set to face off against sixth-ranked France in a five-match series at the Videotron Centre. The victor of this tie will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
In the previous round of qualifiers in February, Canada narrowly defeated Brazil with a 3-2 scoreline. On the other hand, France earned their spot in the upcoming qualifiers by outplaying Slovakia with a 3-1 victory.
