Luke Littler firmly states that he has no intention of following his friend Angry Ginge into the jungle after the YouTuber’s recent victory on a reality TV show. While congratulating Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, on winning “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here,” the darts champion emphasized that he will not participate in the grueling challenges of the show, no matter the offer.
The young wizard from Warrington, aged 18, has set a clear boundary when it comes to enduring extreme challenges like consuming unusual foods for entertainment purposes. Littler expressed his reluctance, stating that he would not subject himself to being far away from home, consuming unappetizing dishes, and enduring the overall discomfort of the jungle trials.
Reflecting on his decision, Littler emphasized that after watching the show and witnessing the intense challenges, especially those faced by rapper Aitch, he is certain that he would never partake in such experiences. He made it clear to his girlfriend that the idea of participating in such trials is completely off the table for him.
In the recent season of the show, Burtwistle emerged as the victor, being crowned the King of the Jungle after spending three weeks in the Australian rainforest. In his final trial, he faced various challenges, including having snakes and critters placed on his head in a nerve-wracking task called the Helmet of Hell.
Following his friend’s success, Littler celebrated by attending a football match as part of Manchester United’s supporters at Molineux, where the club secured a 4-1 victory. The world No.1 was even captured on TV cameras alongside Rick McGagh, head of fan engagement at Manchester United.
After Littler shared his excitement about his “first away day” on social media, United captain Bruno Fernandes, who scored twice in the match, responded with a darts emoji, acknowledging Littler’s presence at the game.
