Sarah Ferguson is considering relocating abroad amid the controversy surrounding her and ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. Buckingham Palace recently announced that the King would remove all of Andrew’s royal titles and evict him from Royal Lodge due to the outrage over the minimal rent Andrew paid for the property.
While Andrew is said to be moving to a residence on the Sandringham Estate, Sarah will need to find her own accommodation. The couple had moved into Royal Lodge with their daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, in 2004 after leaving their previous home, Sunninghill Park.
The King has agreed to cover Andrew’s expenses from his personal funds, leaving Sarah to make independent living arrangements since she relinquished her royal titles. Reports suggest that Sarah might relocate abroad as she feels she has limited options remaining, especially considering the dwindling social invites.
It is anticipated that Sarah and Andrew will vacate Royal Lodge in the near future, possibly after Christmas, as the process of relinquishing the property is time-consuming. King Charles decided to strip Andrew of his Prince and Duke of York titles following public outcry over his association with Jeffrey Epstein and allegations of sexual misconduct.
Virginia Giuffre’s family celebrated the news of Andrew losing his titles, stating that she had succeeded in holding a British prince accountable for his actions. They emphasized Virginia’s courage and determination in seeking justice not only for herself but also for other survivors of abuse connected to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
