ITV has announced a revamped lineup for their 2026 broadcasting team following a recent agreement with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Celebrated world champion Luke Littler will be making his return to action after a remarkable victory at Ally Pally.
In preparation for the upcoming coverage, ITV revealed the programming changes that will accompany their new three-year deal with the PDC. Viewers can expect to see games from various prestigious events such as the World Masters, UK Open, World Series of Darts Finals, European Championship, Players Championship Finals, and global events from the World Series of Darts.
Leading the coverage as hosts will be Sky Sports frontman Pete Graves and Gabbie Partington. Partington is already gearing up for the upcoming World Series of Darts double-header in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
The new punditry team on ITV will feature renowned names like Wayne Mardle, a five-time World Championship semi-finalist, and ex-Premier League champion Glen Durrant. Additionally, former PDC star Mark Webster and ex-World Matchplay semi-finalist Chris Mason will join the punditry team, while changes are expected in the commentary booth.
Dan Dawson will team up with talkSPORT commentator Mark Wilson, and the iconic broadcaster Ian Danter will continue to be a part of the broadcast team.
PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter expressed delight at the extended partnership with ITV, highlighting the significance of providing free-to-air coverage of popular darts events to fans in the UK. Niall Sloane, ITV Director of Sport, emphasized their commitment to expanding live darts coverage and maintaining a strong collaboration with the PDC.
Darts enthusiasts can look forward to the Bahrain Darts Masters starting soon, with reigning champion Stephen Bunting set to defend his title against Ryusei Azemoto. Meanwhile, Luke Littler will face off against Paul Lim in the opening round of the competition.
