Dianne Buswell from Strictly Come Dancing shared her feelings of distress regarding her pregnancy journey with fans. The 36-year-old Australian dancer, expecting her first child with former Strictly partner and YouTuber Joe Sugg, revealed they are anticipating a baby boy next year.
The upcoming arrival has led to notable adjustments, as Dianne expressed her struggles with fitting into her clothes during a conversation with last year’s Glitter Ball winner Chris McCausland. She mentioned feeling upset about not being able to fit into her jeans and shared her unsuccessful shopping trip to find clothes that would make her feel good about herself.
Dianne and Joe, aged 34, initially met when they were paired on the BBC reality show in 2018, finishing as runners-up. They joyfully announced their pregnancy through an Instagram post in September, expressing their excitement to meet their baby boy.
Dianne admitted that she is visibly growing and that the baby is very active, jokingly speculating about his future as either a footballer or an Irish dancer. Despite leaving Strictly earlier this month due to her partner’s injury, she emphasized that she won’t be slowing down, as she finds it challenging to relax and prefers to stay active.
Reflecting on her upbringing where her parents were constantly busy, Dianne expressed her discomfort with idle time and emphasized her need to stay active, highlighting her routine of going to the gym and staying busy throughout the day.
