Backstreet Boys Make History with Toronto Concert Residency

The iconic Backstreet Boys are set to dazzle their Canadian fans with a thrilling series of concerts in Toronto early next year. The beloved ’90s boy band will grace the stage at Toronto’s Rogers Centre in February, treating their loyal followers to a total of nine shows, marking their only North American stadium performances in 2027.

This upcoming stint in Toronto will make history as the most consecutive nights a musical act has performed at the Rogers Centre, surpassing previous records set by The Weeknd and Taylor Swift, as reported by Billboard. The group initially announced four Toronto dates via a captivating social media post that featured a glitzy promotional video showcasing the band climbing into a plane adorned with their name and a red maple leaf. Due to overwhelming demand, an additional five dates were later added.

Expressing their gratitude towards their Canadian fanbase, Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell shared, “Canada was one of the first places to embrace us, and the love and support we’ve received from our fans there has meant so much from the very beginning.” The Toronto concerts follow the band’s successful Into the Millennium residency series at the immersive Las Vegas venue, Sphere, in 2025.

Following a string of sold-out shows, the residency was extended into the summer, with more dates scheduled around New Year’s Day. Currently, the group is captivating audiences in Germany with a series of performances in Düsseldorf, a country they credit as one of their earliest supporters.

The Toronto performances will be a nostalgic journey back to the Backstreet Boys’ chart-topping 1999 album, “Millennium,” which solidified their status as global music icons. Hits like “I Want It That Way,” “Larger Than Life,” and “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely” from the album will be featured in the setlist, alongside fan favorites from other albums, including the classic “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and lesser-known gems like “The Perfect Fan.”

Fans can mark their calendars for the Toronto shows on February 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28. Ticket sales to the public will commence on October 9, with various presale opportunities available before the general release.
