Norwood, a creation of Xicoia, the AI talent division of the London-based Particle6 Group, encountered the glitch during a discussion about the cast of “Misaligned,” a comedy-drama set in the virtual world known as the “Tillyverse.” When asked by actor Tom Conti about the authenticity of its co-stars, Norwood evaded the question, highlighting the hybrid nature of the production involving both real and digital elements.
Despite Conti’s persistence in clarifying whether the actors were real or digital, Norwood’s response was interrupted by another glitch, causing it to switch to Cantonese unexpectedly. The light-hearted moment amused Conti and Morgan, showcasing the unpredictability of AI-generated performances.
