Claire Johnstone, while loading her young son into her car after leaving a hotel, had a close encounter with a collapsing scaffold on August 11.
The loud crash startled Johnstone as the scaffold fell next to her car, prompting her to quickly react to protect her family. With a glass roof on the car, she witnessed metal structures and debris hitting the vehicle, urging her husband to drive away from the building.
