At the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, Ms. Cooper engaged with volunteers to address the rebuilding of Gaza’s healthcare system. She also met with influential Saudi women and participated in a traditional tea ceremony at the King Abdullah Financial District. Announcing £6 million in funding for life-saving healthcare for women during her Jordan visit, Ms. Cooper aims to support efforts in providing essential services, especially in maternal care.
Furthermore, the Foreign Secretary plans to meet with Jordanian leaders to discuss ceasefire initiatives and reconstruction activities. Her itinerary includes interactions with schoolgirls, hospital visits, and observing the training of Palestinian security forces in the West Bank.
