A 41-year-old teaching assistant is accused of engaging in sexual activities with a teenage boy after exchanging flirtatious messages with him when he was 12 years old. Stephanie Jensen allegedly confessed to investigators that she became flirtatious with the victim when he was 12 while working as a teacher’s aide. The victim claimed that Jensen knew his age, as she taught the second year at his school when he was in the eighth grade, and they would often run into each other on school grounds.
The victim alleged that he had sexual relations with Jensen in September 2024, before he turned 16 and got his driver’s license. He further claimed that they engaged in sexual activities on four other occasions between the ages of 15 and 17. The encounters reportedly took place at Faith Lutheran School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, where Jensen and the victim met. The victim also stated that Jensen sent him explicit photos and allegedly shared nude images with his underage friends.
According to a complaint obtained by a news network, the victim revealed that Jensen not only sent him nude pictures but also shared explicit content with his friends, leading to her adding more people to view the images. Despite denying having sexual relations with the teenager, Jensen admitted to sending explicit photos and videos when questioned by detectives at her residence.
Upon being informed of her arrest, Jensen reportedly refused to acknowledge it and resisted getting up from the couch, requiring officers to assist her. She was eventually handcuffed after struggling with the officers. Jensen now faces charges of possession of child pornography, multiple counts of child enticement, exposing intimate parts of a child, and second-degree sexual assault of a child.
Faith Lutheran School announced that they terminated Jensen’s employment following formal charges being filed. In a statement to WBAY, the school expressed its commitment to the safety and well-being of its students, staff, families, and community. They offered prayers for all those affected by the events and emphasized their trust in God as they navigate the situation.
